First Kid’s PPEC is the only physician – owned prescribed pediatric extended care facility in South Florida. Our team of professionals are renowned for their work, where many have 20+ years of experience in their fields.

Our locations provide spacious, open space for children to learn, play, and receive care. We take the cleanliness and comfort of our patients extremely seriously, especially in light of COVID – 19, and have taken additional measures to ensure cleanliness and safety.

Dr. Moises Issa

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Issa has 25+ years of experience serving the S. Florida community as a doctor of internal medicine, where he specializes in treating diabetes, hypertension, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Manuel Cerda, LCSW

Chief Operations Officer

Mr. Cerda has 28+ years of experience serving the S. Florida community as a psychotherapist and behavioral analyst and has direct experience working within PPEC facilities.

Carol Lahori, RN

Director of Nursing

Carol is a registered nurse (RN) that has specialized in pediatric nursing for the last six years. She has experience working in the Pediatric Unit, NICU, and Mother – Baby Units of Palmetto Hospital, as well as extensive experience in home health, school nursing, and clinical supervisory operations.
